"Frisco Disco," originally released in 1978, is undisputed as one of the all-time top classic breaks. The distinctive flute-laced drum pattern has been repeatedly sampled (most famously in Slick Rick's "Mona Lisa") and is an essential part of any old school set. With its distinctive multicolored vinyl, the original 12-inch is almost as famous for its look as for the music. This fully licensed pressing not only features a classy DJ edit from The Undercover Brother (incorporating all the essential elements absent in the vintage 45 pressing) but duplicates the rainbow splatter-vinyl on 7-inch for the first time. The flip side of this sureshot collector's item highlights a funky downtempo groover, "It's Real," that has never appeared on 45 before.
