It is just one of three, yes three, 7"s John Reed and the Automatics are putting out this month and it is supercharged stuff: a-side 'Funky Mule' has powerful horns, hard hitting beats and a raw and rugged aesthetic that will demand plenty of sweat on the dance floor. On the flip is a cover of an all time classic - 'Reach Out I'll Be There' gets reworked as a more strident beat with a lead riff that will get hands in the air.
