Shelley Fisher is something like a legend within the world of rare funk record collectors. The reason for this is I'll Leave You Girl (for somebody new), a song which he wrote and released in 1970. Backed with an equally great version of the standard St. James Infirmary, copies of the original 45rpm single are highly sought after by DJs and record collectors.
