Our top two selects from their 1977 self-titled & only album The Perfect Circle, LP feature peak George Semper who produced, performed on, & released the LP on his LA based Inner City Records label. A “Hammond B3 Hero” for his 1966 Makin Waves, LP The Perfect Circle cemented his music legacy as a “Godfather of Bay Area Funk”. The Perfect Circle band is most known for their Bay Area Funk (San Francisco/Oakland) sound a geographically unique fusion of funk, jazz, soul, & folk, & rock akin to bands Tower of Power and War. The Perfect Circle, LP has become a rare-vinyl grail among DJs, music lovers & collectors worldwide! LP CUT is over 9mins long. Weldon on Keys and vocals back up with Emerson Cain, Lenny white Drums, Tony Wiles percussion and Alex Blake on bass. Speaking to the family, I found out that Weldon had wanted to release a 7” of this back in the day, but it never happened, until now!
